Additionally, Rotley experienced limited use of his left arm due to a recent onset of gout.

When Kelin Pavon Galvez faced a life-threatening health crisis, she was admitted to a local hospital, where she coded multiple times and was given a grim prognosis. Despite the overwhelming odds, Kelin’s determination to fight for her life—and for her three young children—kept her going.

Recognizing her need for specialized, long-term care, Kelin was referred to Vibra Hospital of Houston, a critical care hospital dedicated to treating patients with complex medical challenges.

German Garay

German Garay arrived at Vibra Hospital of Houston after battling multiple serious health challenges. Following a recent hospitalization, he was diagnosed with respiratory failure and required ventilator support and a tracheostomy to breathe. He also underwent a thoracentesis with chest tube placement and had a complex history that included pneumonia, atrial fibrillation, and coronary artery disease. Weak and unable to walk for over two months, German faced a long and daunting recovery journey.

But German didn’t give up! With determination, he partnered with Vibra Hospital’s dedicated critical care team to manage his complex care needs and take the first steps toward recovery.

Roy Beck

Following surgery, Roy was very weak and required a mechanical ventilator to breathe for him. He could not walk and required assistance with all aspects of mobility. The struggles following his cardiac surgery led Roy to Vibra Hospital of Houston, a critical care hospital.

Jody Stewart

Hospitalized to undergo a quadruple bypass, Jody Stewart’s journey back home was long and full of challenges to overcome. It began with being placed on a ventilator and undergoing a tracheostomy following respiratory distress. He also had a chest tube placed. Requiring an extended hospitalization before he could safely return home, Jody admitted to Vibra Hospital of Houston, a critical care hospital.

Diagnosed with respiratory failure, Timothy Martell admitted to Vibra Hospital of Houston with hope. Hope that he would breathe again on his own. Hope that he would return home. Hope that he would be able to live his life independently again.

Shyla Smith Beard

Shyla Smith Beard arrived at Vibra Hospital of Houston in poor health. Having experienced complications due to septic shock, Shyla required continued medical management after an initial hospitalization. Those complications resulted in amputations of both of Shyla’s legs as well as her left forearm.
