German working with a care team member at Vibra Hospital

German Garay

German Garay arrived at Vibra Hospital of Houston after battling multiple serious health challenges. Following a recent hospitalization, he was diagnosed with respiratory failure and required ventilator support and a tracheostomy to breathe. He also underwent a thoracentesis with chest tube placement and had a complex history that included pneumonia, atrial fibrillation, and coronary artery disease. Weak and unable to walk for over two months, German faced a long and daunting recovery journey. But German didn’t give up! With determination, he partnered with Vibra Hospital’s dedicated critical care team to manage his complex care needs and take the first steps toward recovery.
